The Specialist Automotive Finance (SAF) accreditation was introduced by the FLA (the Finance & Leasing Association), the leading trade body for the automotive finance industry here in the UK. It’s role (to quote from the FLA website) is to “foster sustainable and trustworthy finance markets that benefit both consumers and businesses.”

To quote from the SAF website; “SAF Approved provides recognition for companies where all of their customer facing Team Members, involved in the sale of motor finance, have passed the SAF Expert test. SAF Approved status is an initiative primarily designed for dealer groups, but can also be achieved by lenders and brokers too.”
