Hyundai Motor UK applauds exemplary performance in Annual Retailer Awards

Hyundai Motor UK has celebrated its 161-strong UK retailer network in the 2024 Annual Retailer Awards, crowning Daly’s Garage Overall Retailer of the Year and celebrating a trio of successes for Marshall Motor Group, with Overall Retailer Group, Progress Retailer Group and Aftersales Retailer Group of the Year.

Sales Retailer Group of the Year went to Platinum Motor Group, while Cannon Motors Hyundai took the sales retailer award. Read Hyundai Lincoln took the Progress Retailer of the Year title, with Holdcroft Motor Group praised as Customer Retailer Group. Aftersales Retailer of the Year went to Paul Rigby Hyundai Bromsgrove, while Drive Hyundai Scarborough rounds off the awards with Customer Retailer of the Year.

Hyundai Motor UK’s Balanced Scorecard is a system that assesses and evaluates every retailer, considering five key areas – New Car Sales, Aftersales Performance, Customer Experience, Retailer Profitability and Future Mobility. The resulting data creates a basis upon which the Annual Retailer Awards are presented, highlighting and celebrating exemplary performance across the network.

Hyundai Motor UK sales grew 5.4% year-on-year during 2024, continuing an upwards sales trend that saw 2023 sales up 8.3% over 2022. Overall, Hyundai Motor UK sold 91,800 vehicles in 2024, with the TUCSON as best-seller, accounting for 35% of all cars sold. The brand’s share of the UK car market increased by 0.1 percentage points to 4.7%.
