The History of Skoda

SKODA was originally founded in 1895 as a bicycle repair and manufacturing shop in Mladá Boleslav, Czechia. It was founded by Václav Laurin & Václav Klement, and was originally called Laurin and Klement.

By 1899, Laurin & Klement had ventured into motorcycles, and in 1905 they released their first car - the Voiturette.
