Skoda Kodiaq Powertrain Options
The Kodiaq is available with a wide range of powertrains, including petrol, diesel, mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
The Kodiaq PHEV, powered by the 1.5 TSI iV engine, offers up to 76 miles of all-electric driving range, making it an excellent choice for everyday journeys and shorter commutes. However, the plug-in hybrid version is available exclusively in the five-seat model.
For most buyers, the 1.5 TSI e-TEC mild-hybrid strikes the best balance between performance and efficiency, while the 2.0 TDI remains the preferred option for drivers who regularly cover longer distances. Four-wheel drive is offered with the more powerful TSI and TDI engines and comes as standard on the flagship vRS model, which is equipped with a 265 PS 2.0 TSI engine.

The Good
- Plug-in hybrid version offers a 76 mile all-electric range
- Excellent practicality, with up to 2,105 litres of boot space in 5-seat form with the rear seats folded

- Broad choice of six trims and both 5 and 7-seat layouts
The Not So Good
