Renault Group wins ‘Zero Emission Manufacturer of the Year’ at the Fleet News Awards 2026

Renault Group has been named ‘Zero Emission Manufacturer of the Year’ at the prestigious Fleet News Awards 2026, underlining its leadership in supporting UK fleets transition to electric mobility.

The judges, who voted unanimously to award the win, said: “Renault has a wide portfolio of electric vehicles, from small cars to large vans, and across all price points, within a group that includes Alpine and Dacia. Renault is doing more than anyone to help fleets make the transition to electric.”

The recognition reflects the breadth and depth of Renault Group’s zero-emission offering. This spans from the recent additions of the Renault 5 E-Tech electric, Renault 4 E-Tech electric and Alpine A290, right through to established models such as the Megane E-Tech electric, Scenic E-Tech electric and Dacia Spring, and the forthcoming Renault Twingo E-Tech electric and Alpine A390. Together, this line-up allows Renault Group to offer fleets a compelling mix of accessibility, desirability and everyday usability.

For example, Renault Group’s commitment to democratising EVs for business users extends to the low price points of Dacia Spring (from £15,990 OTR), Renault 5 (from £21,495 OTR) and Renault 4 (from £23,445 OTR), while notably highlighting usability are the respective WLTP ranges of the Scenic E-Tech electric and Master E-Tech electric of 379 and 285, respectively.

In the commercial vehicle sector, Renault Group’s all-electric LCV range – including Kangoo E-Tech electric, Master E-Tech electric and Dacia Spring Cargo – played a key role in securing the accolade, giving hard-working fleets practical, cost-effective solutions across multiple operational needs. The zero-emissions tailpipe, light commercial vehicle offering will be further enhanced with the upcoming launch of the new Renault Trafic E-Tech electric – the Group’s first software defined vehicle.
