Whilst we hope you never need to use a Bodyshop we understand the importance of ensuring your vehicle is repaired to its original standard using only the very best parts and workmanship.

Our manufacturer approved (Citroën, Hyundai, Nissan, Škoda, Toyota & Vauxhall) Paint and Bodyshop Repair Centre, The Accident Repair Centre Group (ARC) are equipped to carry out a whole range of repairs, from major accident damage to those annoying dents, scuffs or scratches.

ARC Group's highly-trained and experienced technicians work to BS 10125, the new British Standard for Vehicle Damage Repair, ensuring your vehicle is returned in good-as-new condition.

How Does it Work?

From the initial contact by one of ARC's customer service team, the arrangements are made for the vehicles to be collected by their staff or for you to bring your vehicle to them. Where the insurance company has negotiated a provision of a courtesy car, one will be provided for the duration of repairs.

If your vehicle is a total loss, ie: beyond economical repair, a courtesy car is not always provided. This will depend on each individual's insurance cover.

Once the vehicle arrives on site at one of ARC's centres, the Vehicle Damage Assessment team will provide a detailed work specification, which is then agreed with the policy holders' insurers.

Insurance negotiations today are supported by the use of digital imagery, allowing pictures of the damaged vehicle to be sent to the insurer's claims office to give much faster authorisation for the repairs to commence.

Following the authorisation of work, the parts are ordered and once received the vehicle will be scheduled into the Bodyshops production process. Repairs sometimes involve the use of high specification jigs, alignment systems and all of the necessary equipment to produce a quality repair.

The most up to date spray booths are used together with water-based paints, providing the most modern environment friendly approach to vehicle refinish. ARC Group's paintwork and corrosion protection carry a lifetime warranty. Mechanical parts are covered by manufacturer's warranty (usually 1 year).

Once the vehicle repairs have been completed, the last stage is for the vehicle to be cleaned and prepared for collection. One of ARC's senior managers will check the repairs before final quality control sign off. Then the customer service team will make contact with you to arrange collection.

The progress of each vehicle can be tracked on their website. All customers also receive regular updates via their mobile phones, with text messaging and emails from their system. Just ask a member of ARC if you have not received your personal logins to the system.
